Supported Trainers

ROUVY supports different kinds of trainers, smart bikes, speed sensors, and heart rate monitors.

When riding a virtual course on the ROUVY App, if you ride using any of the supported trainers, you can feel the resistance when climbing the hill (just like when riding outdoors, you have to pedal harder or change gears to make it easier).

What is good to know about each type of trainer:

Smart Bikes

  • It is an all-in-one solution where no bike is needed.
  • You can connect thru Bluetooth / ANT+ connection.
  • Smart Bikes support controllable features and so, your pedaling resistance will be controlled by a trainer.

Smart trainers

  • You need a bike to train on the trainer.
  • It gives you the best user experience and price-performance ratio.
  • You can connect thru Bluetooth / ANT+ connection.
  • Smart Trainers support controllable features that mean your pedaling resistance will be controlled by a trainer.

Classic/ Turbo trainers

  • You need a bike to train on the trainer.
  • This trainer does not support controllable features, which means your pedaling resistance will not be controlled by a trainer.
