Project screen in ROUVY Route Creator

The Project screen is where you create, manage, and track all your Route Creator projects. It gives you a clear overview of each project’s progress and status.

This screen is your main hub for managing projects, so it’s worth keeping an eye on statuses, especially during uploading and processing, to stay on track.

Main tools

From the Project screen, you can:

  • Start a new project
Click on the yellow button in the top-right corner and create a new route project from scratch.
  • Delete a local project
Remove a project stored on your computer.
⚠️ You can only delete a project before sending it to ROUVY. Once uploaded, it cannot be deleted.
  • Check project status
Track progress from upload through processing and completion.

Project name

  • The project name is for your own reference and won’t be visible to other users.
  • It cannot be changed after creation.
  • You can set the public route name later.

Project status explained

Each project moves through different stages:

Local

The project is stored only on your computer.

Uploading

The project is being sent to the server.

You can safely interrupt this process and resume it later, for example after restarting RRC.

Processing

The project is queued or actively being processed. This usually takes at least 12 hours, but it can take several days.

⚠️ The estimated time is only approximate.

Failed

The project did not process successfully.

⚠️ There’s no action needed on your side. You can wait or continue working on another project. If the issue is on our side, we’ll resolve it and complete the project.

Ready to open

The project is processed and ready for you to finalize.

Private

The route works and is accessible via the Summary screen or the Created routes collection in the ROUVY app, but it won’t appear in search.

Public

The route is available to all ROUVY users.

Video download

After processing, you can download a low-resolution version of the video from the Video column.

This helps you work faster when editing or reviewing your project.
