The ROUVY Companion app tracks your training, recovery and overall fitness across multiple sports.
With expanded activity support, updated Training Load calculations, and health metric integrations, you get a more complete view of your performance in one place.
What the Companion app covers
- multi-sport activity support,
- ROUVY Training Load and Training Score,
- health metrics from supported platforms,
- the app in five languages.
Multi-sport support
This gives you a more complete picture of your overall training, not just your cycling.
ROUVY recognizes activity types synced from connected devices and platforms, not only rides.
|
Only cycling earns XP XP is awarded for indoor and outdoor cycling only. Your swim, your run and your gym session all count towards Training Load and Recovery, but they do not move your Career level. We plan to introduce a new level system that supports XP across all sports. We want to be sure that change does not penalize riders who have already worked their way up the current system, so it is taking us some time. |
Supported activities include:
- running,
- swimming,
- hiking,
- strength training,
- indoor cycling,
- outdoor cycling,
- other supported activities synced from connected devices.
Activities such as rowing and walking appear under Other.

Not in the Riders Portal calendar yet Multi-sport activities show in the Companion app, but not yet in the calendar on the web. Support for them there is planned. |
Multi-sport activities contribute to your:
- ROUVY Training Load (RTL),
- Training Score,
- recovery-related insights.
You can filter your Recent Activity feed by activity type.
Training and Recovery calculations
We rebalanced how ROUVY Training Load is calculated. The original model was built around shorter, higher-intensity indoor efforts. As more athletes began using ROUVY for outdoor riding and multi-sport training, that calculation stopped reflecting how people actually train.
The updated model handles:
- high-intensity interval sessions,
- longer endurance rides,
- Zone 2 training,
- multi-sport training consistency.
|
We do not publish the formulas We do not disclose the exact calculation methods behind these metrics. We keep refining the model, and we may share more about it in the future. |
What is ROUVY Training Load (RTL)?
ROUVY Training Load measures the physiological effort an activity placed on your body, and it is calculated after every synced activity. It accounts for both intensity and duration.
What is Training Score?
Training Score is your 6-week average ROUVY Training Load, on a scale from 0 to 100.
It is a quick read on your current fitness:
- a higher score means higher fitness and training capacity,
- a lower score means your recent training load has dropped,
- the trend matters more than any single number.
Health metrics from supported platforms
|
This part is in beta Health metric integrations are in beta, so the features and the supported platforms may change while we keep building them. |
The Companion app now supports health metric integrations from selected platforms.
Supported integrations currently include:
- WHOOP
- Oura
- Apple Health (beta support)
Once connected, you can see:
- HRV night average,
- resting heart rate,
- sleep duration,
- sleep cycle breakdown,
- stress levels.
Each of them can be shown for Today, the Last 7 days or the Last 4 weeks.
|
We mirror the data, we do not use it yet For now the Companion app only shows you these metrics, so you can see how your recovery and health line up with your training. They do not feed into your Recovery Score. Including them is planned for a later release. |
