What is Training Insights?

Training Insights is a new set of smart widgets in the Companion App, designed to track your cycling performance and daily training progress on ROUVY.

Each metric is based on your ROUVY ride data, and in some cases, on your outdoor rides too.

We covered the most requested metrics, such as Training Score, Recovery, FTP progress, and Weekly performance, to make them all available to you in one tap.

Where to Find Training Insights

Training Insights is available to all users who update their ROUVY Companion App.

  • Just go to App Store or Google Play and update your current Companion App to the latest version.
  • If auto-updates are enabled on your device, the Companion App will update automatically.

Note: Training Insights is an additional feature and does not interfere with any existing Companion App functionality.

The Companion App works as usual, it only has some extra info available to you.

Training Insights is available as a clickable widget right at the top of your Companion App dashboard, as well as a button in the center of the bottom navigation bar.

You can swipe the widget sideways to switch between your training scores and weekly statistics.

Widgets List

When you open Training Insights, you’ll see a series of clickable widgets.
Each one gives you insights into a different part of your training.

Here’s what each widget offers:

ROUVY Training Score (RTS)

Track your overall fitness progress with the new ROUVY Training Score (RTS).

RTS reflects your overall ROUVY training load across your most recent 6 weeks of activities. It helps you track progress and balance effort over time.

The score ranges from 0 to 100. A higher RTS means more consistent training.

Note: RTS currently uses indoor ride data only. Outdoor data will be added in a future update.

Recovery Score (RS)

Smarter training starts with smarter rest.

Your ROUVY Recovery Score tells you how ready your body is for your next ride. It ranges from 0 to 100 and helps you find the right balance between effort and recovery.

Note: RS is currently calculated from indoor ride data only. Outdoor data will be included in a future update.

FTP Progress Tracking

Keep an eye on your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and see how your performance improves over time. Your FTP updates automatically based on your indoor ride data.
