ROUVY and Technogym: Important Update

Starting from July 10, 2025, the ROUVY app will no longer be available directly on Technogym Ride displays.

 

ROUVY remains fully compatible with Technogym Ride trainers when used together with an external device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.). Your ride history, progress, and account are not affected—only the way you access ROUVY changes.


How to Use Technogym with ROUVY After July 10th

Starting from July 10th, to use ROUVY with Technogym Ride, you'll need an external device to run the ROUVY app on - it can be a phone, tablet, or laptop. You will need to log in to the ROUVY app on your external device and connect it to your Technogym Ride. 

To do that:

  • Install and open the ROUVY app on a compatible external device such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer. You can download the newest version of the app here.
     
  • Log in to the ROUVY app using your login details.
     
  • Connect your Technogym Ride using the Sensors button in the top-right corner. Detailed instructions on connecting a trainer are here.
    *You might need to allow connection on the Technogym Ride by enabling the “Control from external device” option on the trainer.

Once connected, you can train as usual—just follow the route on your external device instead of the Technogym Ride display.

To get the most out of ROUVY, you need an active ROUVY subscription.

Follow the steps below to log in to your ROUVY account and check your subscription status by clicking on the icon in the top-right corner and then selecting 'Account and Membership'.

Troubleshooting Logging Into ROUVY

If you previously used your login credentials on a Technogym Ride display, simply use the same credentials on your external device.

  • Download the newest version of the ROUVY app to your computer from this link, or find the ROUVY app in the App Store or Google Play if using a phone or a tablet.
     
  • Log in using your existing account details.

  • After logging in you will see all your previous progress. Your ride history, XP points, and Career level stay intact.

  • You can use the same credentials to log into your Riders Portal on ROUVY.com. More info about Riders Portal is here.

If you're having issues accessing your ROUVY account on a new device:

  • Locate your trainer’s serial number in the trainer’s settings menu (look for a gear icon).
  • Contact us using this form and include the serial number in your message.

Optional: Technogym Screen Mirroring

Technogym allows users to cast content from external devices to their trainers' screens using an HDMI cable. This feature can make it easier for you to follow your ROUVY route on your Technogym Ride's screen.

To use this feature:

  • Connect your external device running the ROUVY app to the HDMI port on the back of the Technogym Ride display using an HDMI cable.
     
  • On the trainer, navigate to 'Apps', then to 'External Input', and open it to enable screen casting.
