ROUVY Career is your chance to unlock a new level of motivation. Earn Experience Points (XP) with every ride, climb through Career Levels, and celebrate your achievements along the way.

How to Start Your ROUVY Career
Getting started is easy.
- Create an account on ROUVY.com.
- Download the newest ROUVY App version.
- Start cycling.
That’s it. You’re automatically in.

Level Up in your ROUVY Career
To level up, keep riding!
Every pedal stroke counts to earn you Experience Points (XP), and once you’ve earned enough Experience Points to complete your current level, you’ll automatically move up.
Each Career Level includes several sub-levels you’ll need to work through first.
You can track your progress on the Career dashboard in the app or on our website.
On ROUVY.com, click View Career at the top-left of your Riders Portal Dashboard, or jump straight in with this direct link. In the ROUVY App, click on your icon in the top-left corner, then choose Profile.
Where to Get Experience Points (XP)
Every ride counts.
You earn Experience Points (XP) with every pedal stroke.
Whether you’re racing, doing a workout, joining a Group Ride or Challenge, or even just warming up or cooling down, you're earning Experience Points.
You can also ride outdoors and import the activity into the ROUVY App. Take a look at this section to set up your outdoor rides synchronization.

Once you earn experience, it’s yours to keep, even if you delete the activity afterward. Experience can only be earned through your own cycling effort. You can’t buy it or gain it any other way. |
Keep an eye on your Experience Points (XP) counter at the top right as you ride. It shows your earned XPs for the ride. Read more on Coins and Experience here.
When you level up, you’ll unlock:
- A new badge, shown with a 5-second animation on your screen.
- A fresh jersey to celebrate your achievement.
You’ll kick things off as a Starter and can climb through more than 100 levels, earning titles like Rookie, Talented, Elite, Regional Class, Professional, National Champ, World Class, Legend, and more.
We've even sprinkled in a few surprise titles along the way to keep things interesting.
Calibration Phase
It doesn’t matter whether you choose flat routes or steep climbs, ROUVY rewards your effort based on your fitness, not the terrain.
That’s where the calibration phase comes in.
When you start your journey, the ROUVY App performs an initial calibration. It uses real performance data, like time, effort, FTP, watts, and more, to begin calculating your individual output.
From there, the app continuously adjusts this calculation to reflect your actual effort and ongoing fitness changes.
This calibration is usually completed by Career Level 9, but it continues to refine over time to stay accurate as you grow stronger.
Your Career progress is calculated just for you, based on how hard you work. That means no shortcuts; there is no advantage of better equipment or shorter routes: just fair play, determination, and a bit of sweat to reach your next level.

Career Dashboard and Overview
Riders Portal
Riders Portal gives you a complete overview of your ROUVY career, both where you are now and what's ahead.
To access it on the Riders Portal, log in to your account at ROUVY.com and click View Career under your profile icon in the top-left corner.
This takes you to your ROUVY Career dashboard, where you can see:
- your current Career level,
- a Career Comparison Histogram and
- your total earned Experience Points (XP).
Scroll down to explore all the levels waiting for you to conquer. You’ll also see:
- how many Experience Points (XP) are needed to reach each level,
- how many days it took you to reach each level,
- the exact dates you achieved each one.

The Career Comparison Histogram helps you see where you stand among other riders. It compares your numbers to those of other riders and shows you a percentage of people with similar Career Levels among all ROUVY cyclists. |
ROUVY App
All your ROUVY Career information is also available to you in the ROUVY App.
Just like in the Riders Portal, tap your profile icon in the top-left corner, then select Profile to open your Career dashboard.
On this screen, you’ll see:
- your total earned Experience Points (XP),
- your current Career level,
- the amount of Experience Points (XP) needed to reach the next Career level.
On the same Dashboard, scroll down for more insights:
- tap Show all in the Achievements section to view everything you’ve unlocked,
- see your ride stats for the last 7 days, last 30 days, and overall,
- check out your records for the past month and your all-time bests,
- find a summary of your personal data at the bottom.
