From BKOOL to ROUVY: Everything You Need to Know

If you have an active BKOOL subscription, you will automatically get access to ROUVY. Check out the steps below on what exactly you need to do to start riding with ROUVY.

• After 1 October, you can continue using BKOOL, the app will remain functional.
• New accounts cannot be created on BKOOL after 1 October. New riders will sign up directly with ROUVY.
   

The BKOOL app will be retired and will no longer be accessible.

• From this date, all riding will take place on ROUVY. You will not be able to use the BKOOL app.
• Your subscription and billing will remain managed through the BKOOL portal.

BKOOL users: Getting Started on ROUVY

Access to ROUVY is part of your BKOOL subscription for now.

To start using ROUVY:

• Use the same email address as your BKOOL account.
• Follow the link in the email and create a new password for ROUVY.
• Log in to ROUVY with your BKOOL email + your new ROUVY password.
• Fill in your metrics and finish creating your ROUVY account.

No new subscription or payment method is required. Access to ROUVY is granted by your BKOOL subscription.
Pricing remains unchanged for now. If anything changes, you will be notified in advance.

BKOOL users: Riding on ROUVY

With your BKOOL subscription, you now have full access to ROUVY.

After creating a ROUVY account, start by downloading the ROUVY app to your device and connecting your trainer.

With full access to ROUVY:

• You can ride thousands of real-world video routes from all over the globe.
  Search for a specific place on a world map, or in our extended catalogue of virtual routes.
   
• Join scheduled events, group rides, and official races with the ROUVY community.

• Access structured workouts and training plans to build fitness and follow your goals.

• Earn Career progress, achievements, and coins to unlock rewards and motivate your training.

• Use ROUVY’s augmented reality features, riding alongside other avatars in real time. Take a look at your ghost riders as well.
   
• Customize your avatar and riding screen to fit your taste. More info is here.

What That Means for ROUVY Users

ROUVY remains entirely focused on delivering the best indoor cycling experience possible and improving both the ROUVY app and the ROUVY Riders Portal.

This transition does not affect our current ROUVY users in any way. 

BKOOL Users FAQ

• From 1 October 2025, your existing BKOOL subscription includes access to ROUVY. You just need to set your password using your BKOOL email.
• You will still be able to use both BKOOL and ROUVY until November 30, 2025. After that date, you will need to continue your subscription directly through ROUVY. We’ll share follow-up details on where and how to enter your payment method before the change takes place.
• The BKOOL app will retire on 30 November 2025. After that date, all riding will continue on ROUVY.
• If you have an active BKOOL subscription, you will use your BKOOL email for both platforms. To log in to ROUVY, you just need to set a new ROUVY password.
• With the Career Carryover feature you can transfer your distance and ascent totals from BKOOL to ROUVY, and your ROUVY Career level will be set to match your progress.
• Once you set a password using your BKOOL email, you can use the same email to log in to ROUVY.
• No. New BKOOL subscriptions will not be available after 1 October 2025. If you would like to subscribe, you can do so directly on ROUVY.
• You can continue riding on ROUVY until your BKOOL subscription runs out. After that, you will need to subscribe directly through ROUVY to keep access.
• Subscription and billing changes must be made in the My Subscription section of the BKOOL portal.
• Not all BKOOL routes will move over, but ROUVY offers thousands of real-world routes with video and a wide calendar of races and events.
• Yes. To continue riding after 30 November 2025 you will need to download the ROUVY app from the App Store, Google Play, or the ROUVY website.
• If your trainer or sensors worked with BKOOL, they should also work with ROUVY. If you run into issues, please reach out to Support.
• Please continue to use BKOOL Support for now. Once you are fully subscribed and riding on ROUVY, you can use the ROUVY Support portal.
• Your current renewal price remains the same for the time being. If anything changes, we will let you know in advance.
• Yes. Until 30 November 2025, you can continue to ride in BKOOL and ROUVY if you are an active BKOOL subscriber.
• If you do not have an active BKOOL subscription, you can still continue riding by subscribing directly on ROUVY. A free trial is available to help you get started.
