In addition to the traditional route search on ROUVY.com, you can explore all our routes on an interactive map.
How to Search for Routes on the Map
Go to ROUVY.com, log in to your Riders Portal, and select the Map tile in the top bar.
This shows a globe with all ROUVY routes marked on it as pins and clusters. Click any cluster or pin to zoom in, or to see detailed information about a route.

Not every route is on the map by default Two kinds of route are hidden until you ask for them: community routes, made by other riders, and video only routes, which have video but no avatars. Turn on Include community routes at the top of the filter panel, and Include video only routes under Other filters at the bottom. Interact with the globe
You can rotate the globe and zoom in and out on any part of the world, using the controls in the top-right corner or by pinching your touchpad or touchscreen.
See where you have already been
The globe can show your own riding history on top of the routes.
Click the layers button on the right side of the map, just below the zoom controls, to open Overlays. There are two switches:
- Visited countries: countries you have ridden in are filled in purple, the ones still waiting for you stay grey. The counter at the bottom of the map tells you how many of them you have collected so far.
- Completed routes: every route you have already finished gets a yellow tick on its pin, so you can spot at a glance what is left to ride.
Search by location
Start typing any location in the Search Places field at the top left of the screen.
The map adjusts and zooms into the area you are interested in.
Narrow it down with filters
The filter panel runs down the left side of the screen, in this order.
- Include community routes: a toggle right under the search field. Off by default.
- Distance, Elevation, Grade (average and maximum) and Estimated time.

Categories, which holds four groups:
- Terrain: Flat, Hilly, Mountain, Downhill.
- Tags: including Enhanced, for routes whose video has been remastered.
- Scenery: Iconic Courses, Race Courses, Countryside, Coastal, Mountains, National Parks, Forest and more.
- Partners: Ironman, Challenge Family, Follow the Pros, La Vuelta, Gran Fondo National Series and the pro teams.
- Other filters: this is where Include video only routes lives.
- Author: show routes made by Friends or by Me, or search for a particular user.
