Mini calendar in the ROUVY app

The mini calendar in the ROUVY app shows what you've planned for the next 10 days, so you can see what's coming and start riding with one tap.

It covers today and the nine days after it, with every day listed, including the empty ones. Routes, workouts, events, and training plan sessions you've planned all show up, each with the details you need to decide what to ride.

The mini calendar is for viewing. You plan, move, and delete activities in the full calendar on Riders Portal, and the app shows the result.

Opening the mini calendar

Select the calendar icon in the status bar at the top of the app. The mini calendar opens over the screen you're on, and you can close it with the cross in the top-right corner.

What you see in the mini calendar

Each planned activity is a tile on its day, marked as a ride, a workout, or an event.

Activity What the tile shows
Ride A route you planned, with its distance, elevation, and estimated riding time.
Workout A workout you planned, with its duration and training load.
Event A race or Group Ride you joined, with its start time, how soon it starts, and the route details.

Sessions from a training plan show up in the mini calendar too.

Select a tile to open the details of the route, workout, or event, and start riding from there.

Planning and changing activities

To add something to your calendar, move it to another day, or remove it, use the calendar on Riders Portal. You can get there straight from the app:

  • Select MANAGE at the top of the mini calendar, or
  • select OPEN CALENDAR at the bottom of it.

Both open the calendar on Riders Portal in your browser. When you join an event, it lands in your calendar on its own.

Not the same as adding an event to your phone's calendar

The mini calendar lives in ROUVY. If you'd like a ROUVY event to show up in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar, see How to Add a ROUVY Event to Your Calendar.

Troubleshooting

Something I planned on the web doesn't show in the app ▶

Close the mini calendar and open it again. If the activity is still missing, sign out of the app and sign back in, and it should appear.

I can't move or delete an activity in the app ▶

That's expected: the mini calendar shows your plan but doesn't change it. Select MANAGE to make changes on Riders Portal.

A workout from TrainingPeaks is missing ▶

Workouts from TrainingPeaks come into ROUVY on the day they're scheduled. On that day, they show in the mini calendar as a workout, so one planned for later in the week won't appear yet.

If today's workout is missing, open the Workouts section and select Sync in the TrainingPeaks row. For more on how the two apps work together, see ROUVY and TrainingPeaks.

If something still looks wrong, contact our support team and include what you planned, for which day, and on which device you're riding.
