The ROUVY referral program lets you invite friends to ride with you, and you both get something for it.
You share your personal referral link. Your friend creates a ROUVY account through it, finishes the free trial, and subscribes. They get 50% off their first two months, and you get a credit toward your next payment.
How it works
What you get
You get a credit for every friend who subscribes through your referral link. It's a fixed amount in your local currency (for example, $9.99, €9.99, or 199 Kč), and the referral page shows the exact amount for your account.
You don't need to claim it: the credit is applied automatically at your next payment, once your friend has finished the trial and subscribed.
Use the same link for every friend. You can follow your invites and rewards on the Referral programme page in your account.
What your friend gets
Your friend gets 50% off the first two months of their subscription after the free trial. No promo code is needed: the discount comes with the account they create through your link.
The discount applies to monthly plans only, so your friend needs to choose a monthly plan at checkout. It works with SINGLE, DUO, and GROUP. After the two discounted months, they can switch to a yearly plan if they like. You'll find current prices in ROUVY Pricing.
Requirements
To invite friends, you need to have made at least one payment to ROUVY. Once you have, your referral link is ready to share.
Your friend has to be new to ROUVY and create their account through your referral link.
How to invite a friend
Your referral link and your referral statistics live on the same page, Referral programme. You can get there from Riders Portal or from ROUVY.com.
From Riders Portal
- Log in to Riders Portal.
- Click your icon in the top-right corner, then Refer new rider and Earn Credits.
- Click Copy link and send the link to your friend through any channel you like.
- Under Your referrals, you can see how many people clicked your link, how many subscribed, and the rewards you've earned so far.
From ROUVY.com
- Log in to your account on rouvy.com.
- Click your icon in the top-right corner and choose Account and Membership.
- Scroll down and click the Referring another Rider tab. It takes you to the same referral page.
Limitations
The referral discount can't be combined with other offers. If your friend qualifies for more than one, only the higher discount applies.
The discount covers your friend's first two paid months in a row. Pausing the subscription doesn't extend it, so months after a pause are charged at the regular price.
If you have a Legacy subscription, your referral credits apply only once you switch to one of the current plans. See ROUVY Pricing for what's available.
Inviting someone to your DUO or GROUP subscription is separate from the referral program. Friends who join your plan through a Group invitation don't count as referrals, even if they're new to ROUVY. To earn the credit, they need to sign up through your referral link.
Troubleshooting
My friend wasn't charged the discounted price ▶
These are the most common reasons:
- Your friend chose a yearly plan. Only monthly plans get the discount.
- The account wasn't created through your referral link, for example because your friend already had a ROUVY account or signed up without the link.
- Your friend pasted the link into the promo code field at checkout. The link isn't a promo code, so this doesn't apply the discount: they need to open the link and sign up from there.
- Your friend changed their plan before the first payment. The discount may not carry over to the new plan.
If none of these fit, or you're not sure, contact us and we can look into it.
I didn't get my referral credit ▶
The credit shows up at your next payment after your friend has finished the trial and subscribed, so it can take a while.
Check Your referrals first: if your friend isn't counted under Subscribed, the invite wasn't registered. If your friend subscribed and nothing appears at your next payment, contact us.
If something about the referral program is unclear, feel free to contact us. Please include your account email and the email of the friend you invited (or the referral link they used), so we can find both accounts.
