Gift Coupons and Promo Codes

This article explains the differences between Gift Coupons and Promo Codes and shows you the correct way to apply them.

ROUVY offers two types of discounts:

• Promo Codes give you a discount on your subscription purchase, in other words, a price reduction to your next purchase.
• Gift Coupons give you a free-of-charge subscription for a limited period, in other words, a 100% discount for some time.

They are both applied in the same way, described below.

What Is a Promo Code?

ROUVY Promo Codes are unique codes, usually 8-12 characters long, that you can apply at checkout to get a price reduction on your subscription purchase.

The amount reduced depends on the Code, so please pay attention to the accompanying information.

Promo Code Guidelines

• Promo codes are valid for one payment only. You cannot use the same code twice.
   
• You can apply a code to a new payment at the checkout, or to the next payment if you already have an active subscription.
  You cannot apply a code to a payment that has already been made.
   
• You cannot apply a Code if you are a member of the Lifetime price guarantee.
  Promo codes are valid only for subscribers who are not members of the Lifetime price.
   
• You cannot apply a Promo Code to an external subscription plan (iTunes or Google Play).
  Discounts apply only to memberships created directly via ROUVY.com.
   
• Promo Codes have expiration dates. Please make sure your Code is still valid.
   
• Some Promo Codes work with one specific subscription plan only. This should be specified in the accompanying information.

What Is a Gift Coupon?

ROUVY Gift Coupons are unique codes, usually 8-12 characters long, that give you a free-of-charge subscription for a limited period (previously known as vouchers).

You apply them in your ROUVY account to get a 100% subscription discount. The length of the discount depends on the duration of your Coupon, typically 1, 6, or 12 months.

Gift Coupon Guidelines

• A Gift Coupon gives you a 100% subscription discount for a limited time, which means your next billing date moves and you are not charged while the Coupon is active.
   
• You cannot cancel a Gift Coupon plan, you need to wait until it runs out.
   
• If you are already an active subscriber, your Coupon starts on your next billing date, after your current, already-paid period ends.
  You can apply it right away, and you do not lose any of your paid subscription time.
   
• Coupons can be limited to specific subscription plans, so please pay attention to any accompanying information.
   
• You can only apply one Coupon at a time.
   
• Your Coupon can last longer than your billing period, unless the Coupon itself is limited to a certain plan.
  For example, you can apply a 6-month Coupon to a 1-month subscription plan, and you will be charged your monthly subscription only after the 6th month, once the Coupon deactivates.
   
• You can cancel your subscription anytime, it does not depend on your applied Gift Coupons.
  Your applied Coupons are canceled together with your subscription, and you cannot apply them again.

How to Apply Your Code

The steps differ slightly depending on whether you already have an account:

• If you don't have a ROUVY account, create one, so you can apply the code together with starting your free trial period.

• If you have a ROUVY account, you can apply the code immediately, and it is applied automatically to your next scheduled subscription payment.
  Detailed instructions are below.

Apply Your Code: New User

If you do not have a ROUVY account, follow these steps:

• go to the ROUVY website at ROUVY.com,
• add your email and click GET STARTED;

• follow the steps of setting up your account:
  • create a strong password,
  • confirm your email and click Next to move on to choosing your plan;

• choose the best ROUVY subscription plan for you, then click Get Started;

• after you have chosen your plan, you see your Payment Summary on the right;
• click the Apply your promo code or gift card button;

• enter your code and validate it;

• if your code is valid and applicable, the new discounted price appears below the code;
• click Apply;

• you can see your discount again in the Payment Summary on the right;

• choose your payment method, enter your details, and click Start Membership.

Apply Your Code: Existing User

If you have a ROUVY account, follow these instructions:

• log in to your ROUVY account on ROUVY.com;
• click the icon in the top-right corner and choose Account and Membership in the drop-down menu;

• click the Manage Subscription button;

• under your current plan you can see the Apply your promo code or gift card button;

• enter your code and click Validate;
• if your code is valid, check the discounted price and click Apply;

• check the summary of the change, where you can see the discount, the final amount, and the date it is billed;
• click Confirm change.

The code is now applied to your next billing.

Check Your Applied Codes

Your current subscription status, your next billing date, and your applied Coupons and Codes are all under the Account and Membership tab in the top-right-corner drop-down menu on ROUVY.com.
