ROUVY gives you two ways to save a route you like, and they do different jobs.
Ride later is a queue of what you plan to ride next.
Favourites is a permanent shelf of the routes you love. This article explains both, and answers the question that brings most riders here: why a route vanished from Ride later on its own.

Nothing stops you from putting a route in both.
Saving a Route
Open any route and look at the row of round buttons next to Start ride and Ride setup.
- The heart adds the route to your Favourites.
- The list with a plus adds it to Ride later. Hover over it and the app tells you so.
Once the route is saved, the button turns green with a tick and a short Added to Ride later message appears at the bottom of the screen. Clicking the same button again takes the route back out.
Where Your Saved Routes Live
Click Routes in the left-hand menu. Under the featured routes at the top you will find a row of tiles, each one a collection of its own, with the number of routes it holds:

Inside Ride later
Open the tile and you get your queue: how many routes are in it, and a card for each one.
- Start ride takes you into the route at the top of the queue.
- Edit collection turns the cards into an editing view. Each route shows its position in the queue, with an arrow on either side to move it forwards or backwards, and a red cross to take it out of the list altogether. Click Finish editing when the queue looks right.
- Sort, on the right, changes the order the routes are shown in. It disappears while you are editing, because that is the moment you are setting the order by hand.
Putting the queue in order
Ride later opens in Custom order, which is the order you arranged yourself. That is the point of a queue: what you want to ride next sits at the top.
If you would rather let the app arrange it, open Sort and pick something else:
- Rating, the score other riders gave the route;
- Distance and Elevation gain, when you know how hard you want to work;
- Estimated time, when it is the clock that decides;
- Online riders, to land where there is company;
- Name and Date published.
Each of them can run Ascending or Descending. Click Apply to use your choice, or Reset to go back to Custom order.
A Route Disappeared from Ride later
This is not a bug, it is what a queue does. A route leaves Ride later once you have ridden it from start to finish, because at that point it is no longer something you are planning to do.

If you want to keep a route for good, put it in your Favourites. That list never empties itself, so a route you love stays there however many times you ride it.
Favourites
Favourites is the simpler of the two lists: a shelf you fill yourself and that only you empty.
Click the heart on any route to put it there, and click it again to take it out. Everything you have hearted sits under Favourite routes on the Routes screen, with the same Sort options as Ride later.
The difference that matters is what happens after you ride: a favourite stays put no matter how many times you complete it. So a climb you keep coming back to, a route you use to test your form, or the one that simply looks beautiful all belong here rather than in the queue.
Your favourites also earn their keep elsewhere in the app. When you pick a route from a challenge tile, your favourite and downloaded routes are shown first.
Ride later and Ride Next
When there is something in your queue, Ride Next offers you the next route from Ride later. That is the queue doing its job: you decide once what comes next, and the app remembers it for you.
Ride Next does not depend on the queue, though. It works just as well when Ride later is empty, so leaving the queue empty switches nothing off.
